Keeping Our People Safe
ATC Williams has a team of over 60 technical and support staff, based in offices in Australia and on sites around the world. We place a high priority on providing a safe and healthy workplace for our people in all locations.
The nature of our work involves us in a variety of situations ranging from conducting operations in remote locations, working in close proximity to large construction plant or drilling rigs, working with potentially contaminated soils/tailings in the field or in our laboratory, and working in air-conditioned offices.
There is a level of risk associated with all these activities and ATC Williams is vigilant in making these environments as safe as practicable.
We instill an awareness of risk and encourage self-responsibility. At the same time, we actively employ systems that comply with recognised health and safety standards, and work with our clients to manage this critical part of our business operations.
Our main health and safety goal for the company is that ‘no one gets hurt’. Everyone should go home at the end of each day in the same (or better) physical condition in which they arrived. We are committed to an ongoing development of our procedures to achieve this.
