Senior Management
The ATC Williams team comprises over 40 technical and support staff based in three offices in Australia and on site locations around the world. Our senior management team has, for the most part, been working with the company since we began operations as MPA Williams & Associates and Australian Tailings Consultants some 30 years ago.

KEITH SEDDON – Technical Director/Principal Engineer Specialty: planning, investigation, design, construction and surveillance of tailings and water dams, geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology Experience: thirty years in consulting, mining and civil projects, across Australia and in four continents |

STEVEN MURPHY – Regional Manager East/Principal Engineer Specialty: business management (Australian operations), Victoria operations, tailings facility management, client relationships, consolidation modelling, geotechnics of soft soils, dam design Experience: over 27 years experience as a geotechnical engineer |

JOHN WEMYSS – Principal Engineer Specialty: project management, business development, client relationships, contract negotiation, civil and structural engineering. Experience: water supply, water retaining structures, concrete and steel structures building design, road design, stormwater design, multi-disciplinary projects |

PAUL SLATTER – Principal Engineer (Rheology & Slurry Engineering) Specialty: rheological characterisation of slurries using rotational, tube and sheet flow rheometers, slurry pipelines, launder and sheet flow design. Experience: Over thirty years in consulting and research internationally, using slurry rheology for engineering design.

CHARLES VUILLIER – Regional Manager West/Principal Engineer Specialty: Western Australian operation, management of large engineering teams, business development, client relationships, geotechnical engineering and construction. Experience: complex foundation design and construction, retaining and underground structures, mining and civil infrastructures, planning of ground investigation, innovative geotechnical solutions. |

JOHN LEAVY – Principal Engineering Geologist Specialty: Western Australian operations, civil geotechnical investigation & design, tailings management, geological mapping and risk assessment Experience: 25 years geotechnical investigation and design, tailings storage design, rockface and cave inspection. |
